Applications for MetLife Provider Universal Life (UL) will no longer be accepted after February 29, 2016 in New York.
Sale of MetLife Provider UL has been discontinued in New York Only. There will be a transition period until February 29th before the last application must be in house in good order. There are no plans to discontinue the sale of this product in any other states or jurisdictions.
Please carefully review the transition rules and dates below for MetLife Provider UL policies in New York Only.
Dates
February 29, 2016 – Last date applications must be in house and in good order
- All Enterprise Applications submitted cases must be signed and received in home office in good order
- Cases submitted via Tele-Application or Express Order Ticket process must be received in good order
- NY preliminary (replacement) forms EREPLDIS-NY-D form must be signed, dated, and received in good order
April 30, 2016 – Last date all cases must be issued and paid for
Illustrations
At the end of business on February 26, 2016, MetLife Provider UL will be removed from WinFlex for New York. After this date, all WinFlex users should use MetLife Solutions for MetLife Provider UL new business cases for New York. At the end of business on April 1, 2016, MetLife Provider UL will be removed from MetLife Solutions for New York Only. MetLife Provider UL will remain in the illustration system and available for sale for all other approved states.
MetLife Premier Accumulator Universal Life and Metife Secure Flex Universal Life are still available for sale in all states.
