Greg joins the Premier Brokerage team with over 30 years’ of diverse underwriting expertise. He started his career as a Home Office Underwriter with Prudential, followed by ten years in brokerage underwriting, specializing in Impaired Risk, older age, and high net worth risks. Most recently, he worked in the Private Placement market underwriting ultra-high net worth clients. Greg’s vast experience and exposure to these markets have allowed him to forge valuable relationships with both carriers and reinsurers.
Familiarity with both the home office and in the field gives Greg the keen understanding of how a home office underwriter thinks, and how to unite underwriting and sales in order to position a client for the most favorable underwriting consideration. Greg has built strong relationships within the underwriting industry, and has built an element of trust, knowledge, and integrity with all of the carriers. Having worked on both ends of the spectrum, Greg is truly an indispensable asset to the Premier Brokerage team and all of our brokers.
A graduate of Shippensburg University, Greg holds his series 6 and 63 licenses. He is a member of the Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU) and the Delaware Valley Underwriters Association. Greg is constantly striving to enhance his proficiency in underwriting by regularly attending seminars and symposiums for advancement in the industry.
Outside of the office, Greg likes to stay active. He is an avid Philly sports fan and loves watching games with his family. He is recently retired from coaching his 4 daughters on various teams, including soccer and softball.
